An Outing at the Zoo

More gorgeous weather!  So we packed up the car and headed to the Topeka Zoo.  Ernest and the kids hadn't been there before.  Apparently it was the place to be, since it was packed.  We had to wait in line for at least 15 minutes outside the gates before getting tickets to go inside.  Once inside we grabbed food and then headed on to take in some wildlife.

They were doing this thing where if you took a picture at each of their 13 stations and you showed them at the gift shop, Channel 13 would give you a prize.  We did all but 1 think.

Ally STILL had her corndog stick in the picture above.

The stroller isn't made for two, but it can work out decently at times.

I love this picture.  The goose was just checking her out.

Got to feed the baby llama.  Ally said that her whiskers tickled.

Getting near the end, and we were all getting tired I think.

Jacob didn't want to be quite that close to the wildlife.

Nose!

The zoo was a lot of fun.  It's small so we were able to get through all of it in a couple of hours so the kids weren't too worn out.  Also, across the street is a really cool park with a train.  The line was pretty long so we just let the kids pick out 3 things to do and then we headed home.

Very fun and we want to go again!
