Doily made for a Family Reunion Door Prize
Just before Ernest proposed to me, I had a dream. I don't remember much about it, other than this scene. I can't draw well at all, but it is fun to do sometimes.
Drawn from a picture, and modified a bit. My parents on my father's baptismal day.
A recurring nightmare I had for a while. This creepy little guy would come down some weirdly crooked stairs, and no one could see him but me. I specifically remember the lighting in the dream, though that doesn't come across in the drawing.
My first costume I really made. Well, maybe not the first. I also did a Star Trek Voyager costume (made without a pattern!) that I wore one Halloween. I still have it somewhere, though I'm pretty sure I never got a picture wearing it.
I made this for my niece.
Another Ren Fest dress. I also made one that was similar but dressier for my ex-sister-in-law to wear as her wedding dress. I wish I had a picture of that dress. It was cool.
I made this one for another niece.
Not the best picture, but I made my bridesmaid's dress for Lori's wedding.
I also made my bridesmaid's dress for Ayslin's wedding. Again, not the best picture. But I like the dress.
And I made my wedding dress. I loved this Vogue pattern, but it wasn't modest enough. I used the basic idea but then designed my own.
The most elaborate dress I've made, Elizabethean style, complete with hoopskirt and boning. I took gray pearls and attached them to the underskirt in the same pattern as is on the wide lace going down the front/sides of the overskirt.
